The previous history of XEOS Imaging started in 1988. At the time, Naturam Environnement decided to develop an aerial imaging technology to facilitate the environmental study of rivers. This innovative technology turned out to be a promising tool.

Following the acquisition of Naturam Environnement by GENIVAR in 2000, the digital aerial imagery technology was identified strategic and renewed efforts were dedicated to the technology.

In 2003, a new entity, totally dedicated on the digital aerial imagery was found and XEOS Imaging inc. was created.

The XEOS Imaging management team, consisting of Tony St-Pierre, Jean Domingue and Jean-François Cauchon, purchased XEOS Imaging in 2005.

Since that, XEOS Imaging consolidated its presence within this large market while opening its first satellite offices, one in Houston, Texas and another in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
